Hapoel Tel Aviv Begins Season Preparations Without Point Guard Tamir Blatt

Hapoel Tel Aviv is set to start its preparations for the upcoming basketball season this week in Sofia, but point guard Tamir Blatt will not be participating in the training sessions. Although Blatt recently signed a three-year contract worth approximately $1.5 million per season with the club, he is not part of coach Dimitris Itoudis's professional plans. The club continues to seek another team to take Blatt on loan for the season, as it was clear from the time of signing that he would not be integrated into Itoudis's roster. A club official confirmed that Itoudis will not allow Blatt to join the team's training camp.

One of the main challenges for both Hapoel Tel Aviv and Blatt is that most top European teams have already finalized their rosters and some have even begun their preseason preparations. This situation has significantly limited Blatt's options for finding a new team to join for the upcoming season. As a result, Blatt is expected to remain sidelined from Hapoel Tel Aviv's activities until a suitable loan arrangement is secured.
