Israel Begins Marketing 1,400 Housing Units in E1 to Connect Maale Adumim and Jerusalem

After more than 30 years of promises and international pressure, Israel has started marketing approximately 1,400 housing units in the E1 area. This development plan aims to link the West Bank settlement of Maale Adumim with Jerusalem, creating a continuous Israeli settlement corridor in the region. Western countries have previously warned that this move could effectively split the West Bank into two separate parts. Maale Adumim's Mayor, Ghieh Yafrah, hailed the initiative as a major achievement for both Israel and the city, stating, "Today we are turning a vision into reality."
