It was also the first to deploy advanced quantum processors from Qolab, developed by Nobel laureate Professor John Martinis. The Israeli model is now being exported internationally, with Quantum Machines establishing a new center in Chicago in partnership with the state of Illinois, leveraging Israeli expertise and infrastructure.

The initial public investment in quantum infrastructure has already generated significant research and commercial activity. The new 100 million shekel funding aims to expand these capabilities further, ensuring Israel’s technological sovereignty and competitive edge in the quantum computing sector.
