Antisemitic Display Near Israeli Embassy in Washington Sparks Outrage
Extremist activists staged a disturbing antisemitic demonstration on a street near the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C., featuring simulated blood poured on the sidewalk, fake graves, red-soaked dolls, and a figure of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dancing on blood alongside hateful signs. The footage of the event was released by the Campaign Against Antisemitism Movement (CAM).
CAM CEO Sasha Reutman condemned the display, stating, "This spectacle in the heart of Washington, outside the Israeli embassy, is not legitimate criticism but direct incitement and pure hatred of Jews." He emphasized that this incident is part of a dangerous global wave of antisemitism rather than an isolated event.
According to CAM's data, the organization documented approximately 127 antisemitic incidents worldwide in the past week alone, with over 4,280 incidents recorded since the beginning of the year. The demonstration highlights the ongoing rise in antisemitic acts globally and the challenges faced by Jewish communities and Israeli institutions abroad.
