Israeli Premier League Referee Assignments Announced for Opening Round
The Israeli Referees Association has released the referee assignments for the first round of the 2026/27 Israeli Premier League season. The opening match features Maccabi Haifa hosting Hapoel Ramat Gan at Sammy Ofer Stadium on Saturday night, with Omer Biran appointed as the referee. The following day, Gal Levi will officiate the game between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Jerusalem at the Rehovot Stadium.
Other matches on Saturday include David Fuchsman refereeing Maccabi Petah Tikva versus Hapoel Kiryat Shmona at Shlomo Biton Stadium, and Nir Levi overseeing the game between Ironi Tiberias and Hapoel Petah Tikva at Barel Stadium. The round concludes on Monday with Nael Odeh refereeing the match between Maccabi Netanya and Bnei Sakhnin at the Netanya Stadium.
