Frame Asian Restaurant Opens Large New Branch in Former Shifudi Tzipora Location in Tel Aviv

A large and upscale new branch of the Asian restaurant chain Frame is set to open on HaBarzel Street in Tel Aviv, taking over the space previously occupied by the beloved Shifudi Tzipora, which closed unexpectedly. The original Frame branch, operating for 20 years on Raoul Wallenberg Street, will close as part of this transition.

The Ramat Hahayal area, where the new branch will open, has recently seen several restaurant closures despite being a busy commercial and medical district. Notable closures include the hamburger restaurant Avantgarde, Shuk Tzafon, the local Golda branch, and most recently Shifudi Tzipora, which shut down permanently after a police raid uncovered illegal residents on the premises.

Frame is a well-established chain known for its fusion menu combining Asian and Western cuisines and its distinctive design that attracts celebrities, families, and businesspeople alike. The new branch will be one of the chain's largest and most luxurious locations, opening in about two weeks. This move coincides with the reopening of the Pomo restaurant after several months of renovations, signaling a shift in the culinary landscape of Ramat Hahayal.

The closure of the longtime Frame branch on Raoul Wallenberg Street is also timed with the nearing completion of light rail construction in that area, prompting the chain to relocate to a more strategic and prominent site.
