Sergio Busquets Joins Barcelona Athletic Coaching Staff with Oriane Goren Set to Play

Sergio Busquets, one of the most prominent footballers of the 21st century, has officially joined the coaching staff of Barcelona Athletic as an assistant coach alongside Giuliano Balti. They will be coaching Oriane Goren, who trains with Barcelona's senior team and is slated to play for the reserve squad in the upcoming season.

Busquets, a product of La Masia, played for Barcelona's first team for 15 years, debuting in the 2008/09 season. During his tenure, he won nine league titles and seven cups, establishing himself as a key figure in one of football's greatest teams. His move into coaching follows a tradition among former Barcelona players who start their managerial careers with the club's lower-tier teams.

Notably, Busquets' former coach Pep Guardiola also began his coaching career with Barcelona's reserve team before becoming one of football's most successful managers.
