Mezhbizh Hasidim Hold Rosh Hashanah Gatherings at Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem
The Mezhbizh Hasidic community surprised many by choosing the Begin Heritage Center, located opposite the Old City walls in Jerusalem, as the main venue for their Rosh Hashanah gatherings this year. Traditionally, the Rebbe and hundreds of followers spend the High Holy Days in Jerusalem, renting hotels and large halls for prayers, festive meals, and tish gatherings. This year, the community secured the luxurious Begin Heritage Center for these sacred events, while lodging was arranged in nearby hotels.
The Hasidim expressed great satisfaction with the unique location, highlighting its stunning views of Mount Zion and other holy sites. Addressing questions about holding religious gatherings in a cultural center, community leaders emphasized that great tzaddikim throughout history have conducted holy ceremonies in various halls and venues, including during international trips by rebbes. They affirmed that nothing will hinder the spiritual elevation of this important "kibbutz" (gathering).
