Channel 14 Suffers Another Blow as Ratings Plummet After Hosting Change

Following a major on-air blunder involving a misidentified interview guest, Channel 14 faces further setbacks with a sharp decline in viewership. The regular host of the "Patriots" panel, Yinon Magal, was briefly absent, and panelist Yotam Zamri stepped in to lead the show. This change coincided with a significant drop in ratings, with the program finishing fourth in prime time at just 5.5% viewership.

The top-rated show that evening was "Dancing with the Stars" on Channel 12 News, which garnered 15.5% ratings. The reality show "Come Eat with Me" on Kan 11 took second place with 7.8%, followed by "The Voice" on Reshet 13 at 7.4%. Meanwhile, i24NEWS's program "The Israelis" recorded a low 0.9%.

In the main evening news broadcasts, Channel 12 News maintained a strong lead with 12.2% ratings. Channel 14 News held second place at 5.7%, ahead of Channel 13 News at 4.5%, Kan 11 News at 3.5%, and i24NEWS at 1.8%. The recent hosting change and prior broadcast mistake have evidently impacted Channel 14's audience share negatively.
