Family Seeks Final 150,000 Shekels to Fund Treatment for 10-Year-Old Oshri Chaim

Oshri Chaim, a 10-year-old boy, is battling a malignant tumor and brain damage following resuscitation after his condition worsened during chemotherapy. Diagnosed two months ago with an aggressive abdominal tumor, Oshri began chemotherapy immediately but collapsed shortly after, requiring resuscitation and ventilation. Doctors estimate the resuscitation caused brain injury, and although he was awakened from sedation two weeks later, he remains unresponsive.

Oshri's family is fighting on two fronts: continuing cancer treatment and initiating a long, complex rehabilitation to help him regain basic functions. Oshri is the eldest of three children; his mother, who recently gave birth to their youngest child just over a week ago, stays by his hospital bedside around the clock, unable to return home or work.

The family has raised significant funds but still needs approximately 150,000 shekels to complete their goal for ongoing treatment and rehabilitation. They emphasize the urgency of starting rehabilitation promptly to maximize Oshri's recovery potential. Oshri's mother expressed determination, saying, "He will come back to himself, and I will do everything for that!"
