Rabbi Dov Lando Celebrates at Strikov Synagogue, Recalls Past Prayers

Last week, Rabbi Dov Lando, head of the yeshiva, attended a Sheva Brachot celebration at the Strikov Beit Midrash. The event honored the granddaughter of the Strikov Rebbe, daughter of Rabbi Pinchas Naftali Brander, a student of Rabbi Lando. Rabbi Lando stayed for about half an hour, participating actively and dancing twice during the celebration.

Originally held in the hall beneath the Beit Midrash, the Sheva Brachot was moved upstairs to the main sanctuary to accommodate Rabbi Lando and avoid inconveniencing him. Attendees and Rabbi Lando himself showed great emotion, as he reminisced about past joyous occasions at the Beit Midrash alongside his cousin, the late Strikov Rebbe. He also recalled leading the initial Selichot prayers there in earlier years.
