Project 252 Hosts Israel’s Largest AI-Powered Zoom Speed Dating Event Tomorrow

On Monday evening, August 17, Project 252 will hold Israel’s largest AI-driven Zoom speed dating event, called the AI Elul Speed Date. Starting at 8:30 PM, the event will bring together 1,000 singles who will each have the opportunity to meet up to seven carefully matched candidates in nine-minute virtual dates from their homes. Participants register and provide personal details, which an algorithm uses to select the most relevant matches from the pool of attendees.

Though nine minutes is brief, it is designed to spark initial curiosity and connection, allowing participants to decide if they want to pursue further meetings. At the end of the evening, mutual interest results in a match, enabling the parties to continue their acquaintance. This format has become a staple of Project 252 events, with previous sessions reporting over 30% of participants securing at least one match.

The event coincides with the Jewish month of Elul, a time traditionally associated with reflection and opening one’s heart, making it an apt moment to explore new relationships. The participation fee is 49 shekels, reduced to 20 shekels for Project 252 subscribers. The event aims to efficiently facilitate meaningful connections in a single evening, replacing months of traditional dating efforts.
