Yosef Levi Released From Military Prison After 42 Days of Family Protest

Yosef Levi, a student at the 'Paar Yosef' yeshiva, was released this morning from Military Prison 10 in Jerusalem after nearly three months of detention. Levi was arrested at his home in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood. Following his arrest, protests erupted, with his father, Rabbi Meir Levi, maintaining a continuous vigil outside the prison gates for 42 days. Rabbi Levi camped near the military prison, enduring harsh weather while studying religious texts and refusing to leave, demonstrating steadfast support for his son and commitment to Torah study.

Upon Yosef Levi's release, he was warmly welcomed with singing and dancing by family, friends, and members of the organization 'Notnim Gev,' near the military prison entrance. The event highlighted the community's solidarity and the family's dedication throughout the detention period.
