Top Youth League Prospects to Watch as Israeli Premier Youth League Returns

The Israeli Premier Youth League is set to resume, spotlighting the most promising young football talents of the current season. The league kicks off on Saturday with live coverage on Sport 5, following an exciting conclusion last year that showcased Israel's emerging football stars.

Among the standout players is Noam Goldenberg, a 16.5-year-old attacking midfielder from Maccabi Haifa. Having advanced two age groups last season, Goldenberg recently signed a contract extending to 2029. Known for his physicality and leadership, he impressed coaches Barak Bachar and Lior Rafaelov with his stamina, covering up to 12 kilometers per game. Goldenberg scored 17 goals across all competitions last season and has already earned playing time against older opponents, including a goal against Beitar Jerusalem.
