Omer Cohen warns fans about fake discounted tickets and files police complaint
Ahead of his upcoming show at Ramat Gan Stadium, Israeli singer Omer Cohen posted a rare warning to fans about a social media ad offering discounted tickets. The ad, aimed at “Leumi customers,” claimed to sell cheaper tickets, but Cohen said, “It’s a scam, be careful my brothers.” He added that the concert is already sold out and told fans, “See you on Thursday for the evening of a lifetime.”
According to the report, the link in the ad appears to lead to the bank’s website, but it is not the correct address. Maako reported that Cohen also filed a complaint with the Israel Police over the matter. The post was published on Sunday, shortly before the scheduled performance.
The upcoming concert at Ramat Gan Stadium is expected to feature a specially built stage, new versions of Cohen’s songs, and material from his new album, Life Lately, which has been widely successful and reached the top of radio airplay charts. Cohen, who has won the “Man of the Year in Music” award multiple times, has established himself as one of the most prominent voices in Israeli music, blending pop, emotion, and personal writing.
