Thousands Visit Rabbi Zaidel of Kratshnif's Tomb on First Yahrzeit for Miraculous Prayers

On the first yahrzeit of Rabbi Zaidel of Kratshnif, known as the "Reza D'Amena," thousands of Israeli worshippers are gathering at his tomb on the Mount of Olives at midnight on Friday, the beginning of Parshat Shoftim. Organized transportation will depart from the Zaks Junction in Jerusalem to the site, where a hospitality tent will offer refreshments and celebratory drinks to the large crowd.

Rabbi Zaidel, who endured a life filled with suffering, was renowned for his spiritual powers to read and fulfill prayer requests (kvitelach) and perform miracles for the Jewish people. Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Morgenstern, a noted Kabbalist, testified that Rabbi Zaidel's complete devotion to God and his ancestral merit granted him the ability to enact salvations, making his tomb a place where miracles continue to occur as if he were still alive.

Since his passing last year, the tomb has become a focal point for thousands seeking divine intervention for communal and personal troubles, fulfilling the late Rabbi's promise to his follower Rabbi Moshe Aharon Neuman that "at my tomb it will be possible to act as if I am alive." At midnight on this special night, prayers and the placing of kvitelach on the tomb will be conducted with the participation of Rabbi Zaidel's son, the Kratshnif-Sighet Rebbe, and prominent rabbis.
