Serbian Midfielder Srdjan Mijailovic Joins Hapoel Ramat Gan Ahead of 2024 Season

Hapoel Ramat Gan has strengthened its squad for the upcoming season by signing 32-year-old Serbian midfielder Srdjan Mijailovic. The club announced the acquisition on Wednesday, adding to their recent signing of 29-year-old Cameroonian striker Marius Noubissi. Mijailovic arrives from Serbian club Čukarički, where he played in recent years under a contract valid until 2029. Despite this, he is joining Hapoel Ramat Gan on a free transfer.

Mijailovic brings significant international experience, having earned eight caps for the Serbian national team. Notably, he participated in Euro 2024, starting in Serbia's final group stage match against Denmark, which ended in a 0-0 draw. He played 73 minutes before being substituted, marking his involvement in Europe's premier national team tournament.

Alongside Mijailovic, Hapoel Ramat Gan secured the signing of Noubissi, who played last season for Pyunik Yerevan. The Cameroonian forward has also played for Belgian club Beerschot and represented Cameroon at the under-20 level, scoring two goals in ten appearances. These signings reflect the club's ambition to bolster its squad ahead of the new Israeli Premier League season.
