Widow of Fallen IDF Soldier Itay Moreno Marries Neria Leibovitz

Gal Moreno, widow of IDF soldier Itay Moreno who was killed in combat at Kibbutz Zikim, married Neria Leibovitz last night. The couple announced their engagement several months ago, with Gal sharing heartfelt photos and expressing her feelings about their union. Itay Moreno fell during reserve service in the Maglan unit after being called up under Code 8, during an encounter with a terrorist cell in the conflict zone communities. Itay was also the nephew of Lt. Col. Emmanuel Moreno, a commander in the elite Sayeret Matkal unit who was killed in the Second Lebanon War. The wedding was marked by warm congratulations, including from Minister Nir Barkat.
