Leaflets in Gaza City Urge Residents to Contact and Cooperate with Israel

Hamas’s internal security apparatus said on Sunday that the Israel Defense Forces had dropped leaflets in western Gaza City urging civilians to contact and cooperate with it. The Hamas statement claimed the flyers contained “incitement messages against the resistance factions” and included phone numbers and online contact details.

According to Hamas, the leaflets warned that there would be “no patience for collaborators” and said the group would keep pursuing anyone who helps Israel achieve its aims. The claim was reported by Israel Hayom.

Photos of the leaflets, said to have been scattered in western Gaza City, showed a message addressed to “the people of Gaza” saying there is still hope, that “your interests are with us,” and that terrorism is the cause of destruction and war that deprived residents of “all elements of life.” The text urged people to recognize where their interests lie and demand their rights.

The flyers also said the future of residents and their children was in their hands, asking whether they wanted to improve their lives or surrender to terrorists. They concluded with a call to “contact us” and said cooperation is “the secret of success.” The headline of the leaflets attributed the message to Shin Bet, under the title “Peace Shin Bet.”
