Maccabi Tel Aviv Could Earn Over 16 Million Euros in Summer Transfer Window, Surpassing Barcelona and Roma

Maccabi Tel Aviv is facing a potentially lucrative summer transfer window, with the possibility of selling four key players: Said Abu Freha, Roy Revivo, Tyrese Asante, and Helio Varela. The combined transfer fees for these players could reach approximately 16.35 million euros, including 350,000 euros already received this window. The estimated fees are 6 million euros for Abu Freha, 3 million euros each for Revivo and Asante, and 4 million euros for Varela.

If these transfers materialize, Maccabi Tel Aviv would rank 89th among European clubs in total transfer income this summer, ahead of major teams such as Red Star Belgrade, Roma, Fiorentina, Rangers, Real Sociedad, Porto, Galatasaray, Werder Bremen, and even Barcelona. This sum would also place Maccabi Tel Aviv far above all other Israeli clubs, with Maccabi Haifa currently leading Israeli earnings at 5.95 million euros.

Excluding the top five European leagues (England, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy), Maccabi Tel Aviv would rank 24th in Europe for player transfer income. Two key questions remain: whether these transfers will actually occur, and how the club plans to utilize the significant funds if the sales go through.

The club is also preparing for new signings to strengthen the squad as it navigates this pivotal summer transfer period.
