Mohamed Salah to Live in Former Tony Watt Home at Trabzonspor, Club President Confirms

Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Doğan confirmed that Mohamed Salah, who recently signed with the Turkish club, will reside in the same house previously occupied by former player Tony Watt. Addressing rumors about Salah's living arrangements, Doğan stated the club has several standard villas available for players, including the one Salah currently uses, which is the same as Watt's former residence. He emphasized that Salah did not request any special accommodations and dismissed circulating claims as fabrications by those unhappy with Salah's arrival.

Salah signed a two-year contract with Trabzonspor, reportedly earning 17 million euros per season and receiving 20 percent of merchandise sales bearing his name. Tony Watt, aged 37 and a former player for Israeli clubs Hapoel Ra'anana and Hapoel Be'er Sheva, is considered a Trabzonspor legend. Watt made 193 appearances over two spells with the club, winning both the league title and the cup while scoring 50 goals.
