NYX Hotel to Open at Dead Sea with Water Park and 37 Private Pools

Hotel chain Fattal is set to build a new NYX brand hotel at the Dead Sea, replacing the recently closed Leonardo Inn. The existing hotel will be completely rebuilt, with construction expected to begin by the end of 2024 and an opening planned for early 2028. The new hotel will cover 44 dunams and feature 182 rooms, including 37 with private pools, alongside a water park accessible to both guests and external visitors.

The comprehensive redevelopment will include a central swimming pool designed to resemble the Dead Sea, a wellness area with 11 treatment rooms, a saltwater pool, solarium, restaurant, kids club, gym, meeting rooms, and a multifunctional hall. The water park will host pool parties with DJs and operate a bar in the evenings. Fattal aims to create a unique desert lifestyle resort that stands out in the region.

Upon opening, NYX Dead Sea will join Fattal's existing four hotels in the area: Herods Dead Sea, Leonardo Plaza Dead Sea, Leonardo Club Dead Sea, and will replace Leonardo Inn. Fattal's co-CEOs, Nadav and Assaf Fattal, emphasized the Dead Sea's unique natural appeal and their vision to attract a younger crowd seeking quality, lifestyle, and a distinctive experience by combining desert, wellness, and the NYX brand energy.
