Hamas Delays in Gaza, Awaiting Israeli Peace Plan Failure, Analyst Warns

Israeli analyst Avi Issacharoff discussed on 103FM the ongoing strategy of Hamas in Gaza, describing it as a deliberate stalling tactic. According to Issacharoff, Hamas benefits from Israel’s setbacks, especially in the court of global public opinion, which he described as a catastrophe comparable to battlefield losses. He highlighted that Hamas still holds armed fighters in Gaza’s streets and is rebuilding its capabilities.

Issacharoff also addressed the uncertainty surrounding the leadership of Hamas’s military wing, stating that its commanders are unknown and conceal their identities from both Israelis and Palestinians. He pointed to Mohammed Dahlan, a Palestinian political figure with deep ties to Gaza, as a significant player not to be underestimated in the region’s future dynamics.
