Close Associate Claims Ali Khamenei Involved in Former Iranian President's Death

A close associate of Mojtaba Khamenei, son of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has made startling claims linking Ali Khamenei to the mysterious helicopter crash that killed former Iranian President Muhammad Khatami. The allegations come amid ongoing speculation about the health and political status of the Supreme Leader, whose condition remains unclear.

Mohammad Baqer Kharazi, a cleric and brother-in-law to Mojtaba's brother Masoud, who serves as secretary-general of "Hezbollah Iran," asserted that Ali Khamenei feared the political rise of President Ebrahim Raisi, known as the "Tehran Executioner" for his role in mass executions in the late 1980s. Kharazi claimed Khamenei orchestrated the helicopter accident to eliminate Khatami, who had previously served as president before Khamenei assumed the Supreme Leader role.

Kharazi also alleged that Ali Khamenei narrowly escaped an assassination attempt ordered by Ayatollah Khomeini, Iran's first Supreme Leader, though the reasons for the failed attempt remain undisclosed. Furthermore, he stated that Mojtaba Khamenei was deeply involved in his father's office during his tenure as Supreme Leader, causing friction with other officials, to the extent that Mojtaba had to be removed to prevent harm to him.

These revelations coincide with heightened Iranian media focus on Ali Khamenei's health, with some Israeli sources confirming he is still alive, while others inside Iran suggest his condition is critical and may deteriorate at any moment.
