Shomrei Emunim Hasidim Mark Sixth Yahrzeit of Rebbe Tiferet Aharon with Prayer and Study

The Shomrei Emunim Hasidic community commemorated the sixth yahrzeit of their revered Rebbe, Tiferet Aharon, who passed away on the 23rd of Menachem Av, 5780 (2020). The observance began on the eve with the Rebbe's son, his successor, lighting memorial candles after the Mincha prayer. That night, the Rebbe entered the main study hall for Maariv prayer, followed by communal study of Tractate Kelim.

On the morning of the yahrzeit, after Shacharit prayer, the Rebbe hosted a celebratory meal and studied Mishnayot from Tractate Mikvaot with the followers. Later, he led the Hasidim in a large prayer gathering at the Rebbe's gravesite in the Shomrei Emunim section on the Mount of Olives. After lighting candles at the gravesite, the community recited Psalms in the traditional order. The Rebbe then placed "kvitelach" (prayer notes) at the grave, blessing the crowd with salvation and blessings in honor of the deceased.

Following this, the Rebbe visited the graves of previous Rebbes, including the Chukei Chaim and Shomrei Emunim Rebbes, for silent prayer for communal and personal salvation. He also visited the grave of the Belzer Rebbe, teacher of the Chukei Chaim Rebbe, at Har HaMenuchot, marking that Rebbe's yahrzeit.

In the evening, the Rebbe led Mincha prayer and the community proceeded to a central festive meal. During the meal, the entire community completed the study of the Talmud, dedicating the merit to the soul of the late Rebbe. Prominent rabbis and admirers of the Rebbe participated, and after the celebratory toast, the Rebbe delivered a discourse elaborating on his father's teachings and path.
