Serbian Guard Nemanja Nedovic Recalls Late-Night Clash With Coach Sasha Djordjevic in Tel Aviv

Nemanja Nedovic, the 35-year-old Serbian basketball guard with extensive EuroLeague experience, recently reflected on a tense episode involving his former national team coach Sasha Djordjevic. Speaking on the 6.75range podcast, Nedovic recounted an incident from 2015 during a game against Israel in Tel Aviv. After scoring 17 points with perfect three-point shooting, Nedovic and teammate Bogdan Bogdanovic celebrated with the team, who later went out in the city.

At around 3 a.m., Nedovic left the group and took a taxi back to the hotel, only to see Djordjevic and his assistant Goran leaving with suitcases. Curious about their destination so late, Nedovic later learned the coach was flying to Athens to sign a contract with Panathinaikos. When the taxi driver questioned where to go, Nedovic insisted on continuing, but Djordjevic noticed him.

At the next practice, Djordjevic confronted Nedovic, accusing some players of causing trouble by sneaking out and lacking courage to admit it. Nedovic explained he was the first to return and that others were still out in the city, leaving him unsure how to respond.
