Northern Israel Strengthens Border Communities with New Housing in Kibbutz Dafna

As part of the "Growth Neighborhoods" project aimed at bolstering northern border settlements, 11 new modular buildings were installed this morning in Kibbutz Dafna in the Upper Galilee. This initiative follows groundwork including land preparation, drainage, and electrical infrastructure. The project is led by the Settlement Division of the World Zionist Organization, in cooperation with the Ministry of Settlement and National Missions, the Tenufa Administration, the Upper Galilee Regional Council, and Kibbutz Dafna's management.

The Settlement Division described this as the initial phase of a broader plan that will bring hundreds of additional buildings to northern border communities to encourage new families to settle and establish roots in the Galilee. Yishai Marling, chairman of the Settlement Division, expressed enthusiasm about the project's start, calling the first buildings "the first sign of growth." He emphasized the importance of providing new residents with optimal conditions to thrive and strengthen the region's population.

This development represents a strategic effort to reinforce Israel's northern border areas by attracting and accommodating new families through expanded housing options.
