Tel Aviv Police Discover Explosive Device Hidden in Backyard Refrigerator During Raid

Police officers from the Tel Aviv South station conducted a targeted search at a residence on Livwick Street in southern Tel Aviv following a court-issued search warrant. During the operation, they discovered a pipe bomb concealed inside a refrigerator placed in the backyard, posing a severe safety and criminal threat. Upon finding the device, the search was immediately halted, and bomb disposal experts from the Tel Aviv district were called to the scene. The bomb squad secured the area, evacuated bystanders, and safely neutralized the explosive without any injuries or property damage. The 45-year-old resident of the home was arrested on-site and taken for further forensic and criminal investigation at the Tel Aviv South police station. Authorities are currently examining the motive behind possessing the explosive, its origin, and whether it was intended for use in local criminal conflicts.
