Donald Trump’s Ex-Wife Marla Maples Reveals His Spiritual Side and Support for Israel

Marla Maples, the 62-year-old second ex-wife of former U.S. President Donald Trump, shared intriguing insights about Trump’s spiritual beliefs in an interview with Israel’s Channel 12. She revealed that Trump carries the Zohar, a foundational Kabbalistic text in Aramaic, close to his heart for protection and healing. Maples described him as having a big heart and said his desire to help others motivated his presidency.

Maples’ spiritual connection led her to visit Israel multiple times, where she experienced a range of activities from visiting holy graves and spending time in Safed to water skiing on the Sea of Galilee. She also recounted a traumatic incident about 20 years ago in Nigeria, where she survived an armed robbery by reciting the Jewish prayer "Shema Yisrael," which she calls a powerful daily prayer.

She mentioned that she has kept kosher for over 20 years. Maples’ daughter Tiffany married businessman Michael Boulos, whose father, Massad Boulos, was appointed by Trump as a special advisor on African and Middle Eastern affairs. Maples praised Massad’s efforts to promote peace and expressed hope for coexistence between Israelis and Lebanese amid ongoing conflict.

Regarding the situation in Israel after October 7, Maples expressed deep sympathy and support, condemning rising antisemitism in the U.S. and emphasizing the unity she has witnessed among Israelis in response to recent events. She said, "Donald does not want to be a president of war; he wants to create peace."
