Emily Amrussi Urges Israeli Right and Center to Unite for Upcoming Elections

Five weeks before the deadline for submitting candidate lists for the upcoming Israeli elections, journalist and author Emily Amrussi issued a passionate call for unity among public figures from the right and center political spectrum. She urged them to set aside personal egos and form a single list to represent the voters of the "center bloc." Amrussi named a long list of prominent politicians alphabetically, including Yuli Edelstein, Gilad Erdan, Benny Gantz, Ayelet Shaked, and others, imploring them to come together and finalize a unified list.

She called for representatives with clean records, untainted by the October 7 failures, who have not considered emigrating, and who reject divisiveness and venomous rhetoric. Amrussi stressed the need for leadership focused on improving education, healthcare, and security. She concluded with an urgent plea for unity, suggesting that candidates agree on list order by a mutually accepted poll, coin toss, or lottery, prioritizing the public good over personal ambition.
