David Hakak Steps Down as CEO of BSH Israel After 25 Years Amid Disputes

David Hakak, CEO of BSH Israel, the importer of Bosch, Siemens, Constructa, and luxury brand Gaggenau, is leaving his position following disagreements with the German parent company's management. Hakak was appointed CEO at the end of 2021 after serving a decade as the company's CFO and board member, and he had held various roles at BSH for an additional ten years prior. He succeeded Yair Rozen, who led BSH Israel for many years before moving to manage Brimag for two years.

BSH is a leading European manufacturer of household electrical appliances, producing refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, and small kitchen appliances. The company operates factories across Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. According to its global website, BSH closed 2025 with sales revenues of 15 billion euros.
