Rabbi Says Betrothal Followed Prayer at Zevhil Rebbe’s Grave Within Days
Prominent speaker Rabbi Moshe Weinbach of Beitar publicly described what he called a striking personal miracle tied to the grave of Rabbi Shlomo of Zevhil on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. He said the episode showed the power of prayer at the site of the late rebbe, Rabbi Shlomke of Zevhil.
Weinbach said that two weeks earlier he met the Zevhil Gaavad at the grave of his grandfather, Rabbi Shlomo of Zevhil, and asked for a blessing for a woman who had been waiting for a match. According to Weinbach, the rabbi asked for her name and prayed for her at the holy site in an emotional manner, then blessed her that she would soon merit a proper marriage.
“Just days” later, Weinbach said, the long-awaited marriage proposal arrived, and this week the woman became engaged. He ended with a pointed message: “You do not need to fly around the world for segulos, salvation is here and works right here, at the holy grave on the Mount of Olives.”
