Israeli Wheelchair Basketball Coach Inspires Students in Yavne with Empowering Sports Initiative

In Yavne, Israeli wheelchair basketball coach and IDF veteran Kfir Neymark led an inspiring basketball workshop for students at the Navon School, introducing them to the sport and its challenges. Neymark, who was injured during his military service and now plays and coaches in Israel's top wheelchair basketball league, shared his personal story of resilience and adaptation after his injury. He emphasized how sports helped him regain confidence, set goals, and maintain hope despite adversity.

During the session, Neymark explained the rules of wheelchair basketball and allowed the students to experience playing the game themselves, encouraging them to see the world from a new perspective. He highlighted the importance of determination, self-belief, and the power of choice in overcoming life's difficulties.
