Yulia Malinovsky of Yisrael Beiteinu Open to Coalition with Democratic Party

Yulia Malinovsky, a Knesset member from the Yisrael Beiteinu party, expressed openness to forming a coalition with the Democratic Party in the next Israeli government. In a recent interview on Channel 14's "Midday Journal," Malinovsky was asked if she considered it legitimate for the Democratic Party to be part of the upcoming government, to which she simply replied, "Yes."

The statement sparked a sharp exchange with interviewer Ido Tauber, who criticized the apparent contradiction between Yisrael Beiteinu's right-wing stance and the willingness to partner with Yair Golan's Democratic Party. Tauber argued that one cannot claim to be right-wing while considering a coalition with Golan, warning that such a move would undermine Yisrael Beiteinu's goals regarding Gaza and border security.

Tauber further highlighted the inconsistency by referencing Yisrael Beiteinu's previous participation in a government that, according to him, failed to advance right-wing policies in the West Bank. Malinovsky stood by her position and did not retract her openness to the Democratic Party's inclusion in the coalition.

This development signals potential shifts in coalition dynamics ahead of the next government formation, with Yisrael Beiteinu possibly broadening its partnership scope beyond traditional right-wing alliances.
