Omri Orland Signs With National League Team Elitzur Netanya Before Turning 17

Elitzur Netanya announced the signing of Omri Orland, a youth national team point guard from Emek Hefer, who will join their senior team while still in high school. Orland, who will turn 17 next month, is seen as a promising talent expected to help lead Netanya back to the Israeli Premier League. Last season, playing for Emek Hefer's youth team, Orland averaged 12.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Currently, at the U18 European Championship with the youth national team, he is averaging 6.5 points and 3.3 assists in 18.8 minutes per game.

Elitzur Netanya's CEO, Shay Segalovich, emphasized the club's goal to build a strong team capable of returning to the top division while also serving as a development platform for talented young Israeli players.
