Atzeret Shlomo Yeshiva Gifts Miniature Torah and Ark to Alberto Safra for Bar Mitzvah

A grand series of celebrations recently took place in Israel marking the bar mitzvah of Alberto Abraham Safra, a leading Torah patron and businessman from Brazil. Hundreds of guests, family members, and friends from around the world gathered over several days to honor the event, which combined Torah scholarship and Hasidic traditions with prominent philanthropists.

The highlight of the festivities was an unprecedented gift from the Atzeret Shlomo Yeshiva: a unique 26-centimeter Torah scroll, meticulously handwritten by a master scribe. This miniature Torah includes letters inscribed by leading rabbis and Torah giants, blessing the bar mitzvah boy and his family. The scroll is housed in a traditional Spanish-style Torah case engraved with personal blessings and handwriting from revered sages and righteous leaders of the generation.

Adding to the gift's significance, the Torah was placed inside a breathtaking miniature model of the ornate ark from the Atzeret Shlomo Yeshiva's main sanctuary at the Safra campus in Rishon Lezion. This exact replica ark serves as both a work of art and a symbol of the yeshiva's spiritual heritage. The elaborate presentation was documented by photographer Daniel Nafosi.
