Missing Mentally Ill Woman Last Seen at Givatayim Pizzeria Sparks Family Concern

Adi Koren, a 59-year-old woman from Ramat Gan who struggles with mental health issues, disappeared two days ago after being seen at a pizzeria in Givatayim. Her son, Roy, told ynet that according to police data from phone tracking and credit card use, she was at 'Pizza Porto' in Givatayim on Monday at 16:10. He spoke with her shortly before then and noted unusual phone activity later that afternoon, including missed calls and unavailable phone status by 17:10. Her last WhatsApp activity was at 16:59.

Roy expressed deep concern, emphasizing that despite her mental health challenges, Adi was usually very reachable and had memorized family phone numbers. He filed a police report the day after her disappearance. He described her as stable and active over the past year, living with her grandmother and partner, and maintaining a routine that included shopping trips.

The family is particularly worried about Adi's association with certain acquaintances who also have mental health issues, especially one individual who had been persistently harassing her. Roy said the police have not fully explored this lead or reviewed security footage from the pizzeria. He fears something serious has happened, as it is uncharacteristic for her to vanish without contact.

The police confirmed an ongoing investigation with search efforts and continuous communication with the family but declined to share specific details. They described Adi as 1.70 meters tall with light hair and urged anyone with information to contact the Israeli police emergency number 100. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing stretch jeans and a short red and white striped shirt.
