London Golders Green Rabbis Order Schools to Stay Closed Over Student Placement Crisis

In an unprecedented move in London’s Golders Green neighborhood, local rabbis have instructed all yeshivas and schools not to open the new academic year as long as more than 20 students remain without placements. The rabbis issued a joint letter to all educational administrators and activists in the community, demanding that the school year be postponed until every child is properly enrolled.
