Teen volunteers help restore Herod's Pool

Over the past two weeks, teenagers and volunteers have been working to clean and rehabilitate the Herod's Pool complex as part of a community project. At the same time, the pool is being refilled, and the on-site work is continuing steadily.

The restoration effort is being led by Inbal Lamberger, a nature photographer, and includes ongoing cleanup and broader efforts to revive the site. Organizers say that simply being present at the location also matters and contributes to the shared effort.

To coordinate the activity, the team uses a WhatsApp group that organizes participants, manages tasks, and provides updates ahead of workdays. The organizers also invited the public to bring friends and join the project.
