Clalit Health Services Continues Referrals to Gynecologist Amid Sexual Misconduct Complaints

Over the past four years, multiple women have lodged complaints against Dr. Guy Bibi, a gynecologist working in Tel Aviv, accusing him of inappropriate sexual behavior during medical examinations. Despite these allegations, Clalit Health Services, where Bibi is employed, continues to schedule patients with him.

The complaints include disturbing incidents such as Bibi hugging a patient who was crying after an exam and pressing his face against her while she was partially undressed, as well as visiting a patient's home to deliver contraceptive pills and kissing her. These testimonies were previously reported in an investigative piece by Kan 11.

When contacted, a Clalit call center operator confirmed that Dr. Bibi still has open appointments available in August. Clalit stated that Bibi underwent a hearing where he denied the allegations, and the complaints were thoroughly investigated. The organization is currently engaged in legal proceedings aimed at terminating his employment.

Dr. Bibi's attorney, Eran Kaizman, emphasized that all complaints were reviewed by Clalit’s authorized bodies, which found no reason to stop referrals to him. He also noted that many patients appreciate Bibi's dedicated and professional care. The situation remains under legal review as Clalit pursues dismissal.
