IDF Soldiers Celebrate Birth of Comrade's Daughter Before Striking Terror Infrastructure in South Lebanon

IDF forces operating in the security zone of southern Lebanon marked the birth of a fellow soldier's daughter in a unique way before carrying out a military operation. Moments before demolishing several terror infrastructure sites in the village of Kounine, soldiers over the military radio network recited the traditional "Mi Sheberach" prayer for the newborn mother. During the prayer, one soldier announced the baby's name, "Mishoa," and blessed the family, wishing the child to grow up "to Torah, marriage, and good deeds." Following the blessing, a countdown from ten was initiated, after which explosives planted in the terror sites were detonated. Video footage released shows smoke rising from the explosion points and the sounds of the blasts at the location.
