Rabbi Brings Stones from Gilad Farm Fire to Mount Temple as Cornerstone for Third Temple

On Tisha B'Av, Rabbi Aryeh Lipo, a resident of Gilad Farm, visited the Temple Mount carrying stones from the recent fire damage at his community. He placed these stones symbolically as a cornerstone for the Third Temple, emphasizing the rebuilding of both his home and the holy site. Rabbi Lipo stated, "Our home will be rebuilt, and we all must build the house of the Holy One, blessed be He."

The fire at Gilad Farm occurred the previous weekend, and two Palestinians arrested on suspicion of causing the blaze were released on Thursday under restrictive conditions. One claim suggests the fire started from a cigarette thrown from a passing vehicle. Police investigations revealed that around 150 vehicles passed the road at the time, with approximately 100 having open windows. However, residents of Gilad Farm and the Samaria Regional Council suspect the fire was a deliberate arson attack by terrorist organizations.

This event highlights ongoing tensions in the region and the symbolic acts by settlers to assert their connection to the land and religious heritage. The community continues to recover from the damage while security forces investigate the incident further.
