Noam Yaacov scored 8 points and handed out 10 assists, but Oostende missed a chance to clinch the Belgian championship on Thursday night, losing 70-69 at home to Antwerp in Game 4 of the final series. Yaacov missed a shot at the end that could have decided the game, and Antwerp tied the series 2-2 to force a fifth game.
The Israeli guard struggled offensively, finishing 2-for-13 from the field, including 0-for-4 from three-point range, and 4-for-8 from the free-throw line. Oostende erased a 10-point deficit and led 67-69 late before Antwerp hit a key three-pointer to seal the win.
Rashid Blu led Antwerp with 23 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists, while Silas Melsson paced Oostende with 16 points. The decisive Game 5 is now next in Belgium.
