Moshi Kleinstein Set to Represent Israel in Eurovision Following Mother Rita's Legacy

In 1990, Israeli singer Rita represented Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, performing the song "Sarah in the Streets," written by Tzruya Lahav and composed by her then-husband, musician Rami Kleinstein. Thirty-six years later, their eldest daughter, Moshi Kleinstein, a successful singer and actress, is poised to follow in her mother's footsteps. Moshi is expected to compete in the upcoming season of "The Next Star to Eurovision," the popular Israeli reality singing competition on Keshet 12 that has recently selected Israel's Eurovision representatives, including Noam Batan, Yuval Rafael, Eden Golan, and Netta Barzilai.

Moshi Kleinstein, who is launching her first album today, has established herself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. She has starred in numerous stage productions, including leading roles in "Hair," "West Side Story," "Hairspray," "Waitress," and "Zero Motivation." Her television credits include a lead role in the series "Bat-El HaBetula" and appearances in "Lama Mi Met." She also acted in films such as Avi Nesher's "Picture of Victory," for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Ophir Awards, and "Heavenly Accounts." Additionally, Moshi has been a voice actress since childhood, dubbing most of Disney's princess movies into Hebrew.
