Kinley Tur-Paz Calls for Broad Zionist Coalition Including Willing Haredim in Next Israeli Government

Moshe (Kinley) Tur-Paz of the Beyachad party commented on the Democratic Party primaries, expressing respect for many candidates despite not agreeing with all of them. He described them as good, Zionist people running for the benefit of the Israeli nation. Tur-Paz emphasized the need to unite all Zionist forces in the next government, including those from left-wing groups like the Democrats and right-wing factions such as those aligned with Naftali Bennett, aiming to bring all Zionist voices together.

He highlighted the importance of including Haredi Jews who are willing to serve and integrate into Israeli society, calling this a central goal for the Zionist camp. Tur-Paz warned that without integrating the Haredi community, Israel's future could be at risk. He noted that currently 10 to 20 percent of the Haredi population participates in state frameworks and pointed to emerging new Haredi parties challenging the traditional leadership.

Responding to comments by Gadi Eisenkot about reluctance to include Haredim in the next government, Tur-Paz insisted that those unwilling to serve should not be part of the Zionist narrative or future coalition. However, those who are willing must be fully included. He also expressed solidarity with figures like Yair Golan and Noam Tivon, who fought in the October 7 conflict, considering them partners in Israel's Zionist future.
