MK Avichai Boaron Calls for Renewed Israeli Presence in Gaza Ahead of March
Avichai Boaron, a member of the Knesset from the Likud party, announced his participation in the upcoming mass march toward Gaza alongside other ministers and lawmakers. In an interview with ynet, Boaron emphasized that the event is coordinated with the Israeli military, police, and relevant authorities, clarifying that there is no talk of an immediate military entry into Gaza. He stated that the march carries a clear message advocating for Israel to reestablish a presence in the northern Gaza Strip. Boaron argued that the October 7 attacks were partly due to Israel's absence from the area and insisted that returning to Gaza would enhance national security. He called for decisive action and a national consensus to return to Gaza as a means to increase Israel's safety.
