US Renewed Travel Warning for Israel Amid Iran Strikes; NYC Mayor Seeks Netanyahu Arrest

The United States military launched another wave of nighttime strikes against Iran, targeting surveillance sites, logistical infrastructure, underground weapons storage, and naval capabilities, according to the US Central Command's X account. Concurrently, the US Embassy in Jerusalem issued a renewed security alert advising travelers to reconsider trips to Israel due to the volatile security situation.

In New York, Mayor Eric Adams reiterated his intention to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu upon his expected arrival for the UN General Assembly in September. Adams, who previously pledged to detain Netanyahu if he landed in New York, described the prime minister as a "war criminal" responsible for "genocide in Gaza" during an interview with The New York Times.

Meanwhile, Ukraine conducted a heavy drone attack on Russian oil infrastructure and a warehouse belonging to the Russian delivery company Wildberries in the Moscow region. The assault resulted in seven deaths and dozens of injuries, causing significant damage and a large fire.

In Israel, actress and singer Shoshik Shani, known for her long-standing contributions to Israeli culture since the 1950s, passed away at age 91. She was renowned for her theater work, children's music, voice acting, and teaching.

Additionally, a major fire broke out in the Shomron region at the Gilad Farm, destroying 13 homes, a garage, and a wood warehouse.
