Israeli High Court Orders Responses to Attorney General Law Petitions Without Freezing Legislation

Justice Ofer Groskopf of the Israeli High Court has instructed the Knesset and other respondents to submit responses to petitions challenging the law that diminishes the authority of the Attorney General. However, he refrained from issuing an interim injunction to freeze the law, citing that it will only come into effect in January 2027.
