IDF Central Command Chief Says Gaza Border Raid Like Three Years Ago Is Impossible Today

At the Gaza border during the change of command ceremony for the Lightning Brigade, IDF Central Command Chief Avi Blot stated that over 60% of the Gaza Strip is currently under Israeli control. He emphasized that the security zone protecting the communities surrounding Gaza is maintained by two divisions and Israel's top soldiers. Blot asserted that a raid similar to the one that occurred nearly three years ago is no longer feasible. He also highlighted that the improved security and sense of safety have led to increased construction and agricultural activity in the area, noting that wheat is growing again.
