IDF Central Command Chief Praises West Bank Farms for Strengthening Security

Major General Avi Blot, commander of the IDF Central Command, praised the activities of farm owners across Judea and Samaria during a security forum organized by the Farms Association. He emphasized that the farms’ operations align with the IDF’s security approach as long as they are conducted in full coordination with the military, comply with the law, and uphold ethical values. Blot expressed strong support for the settlers, stating, "I look you all in the eye. I love you, appreciate you, and value your work."

Blot highlighted the importance of cooperation between the farms and the IDF, noting the farm owners’ efforts to set boundaries and act responsibly. He called for unity of purpose to strengthen the positive forces present on the farms, which contribute to the IDF’s success. According to Blot, this collaboration fits well with the security concept and significantly enhances security when done legally and ethically.

He also remarked on significant changes in the Judea and Samaria sector over the past two years, including shifts in security conditions and strategic thinking. "There have been enormous changes in the last two-plus years," he said, referring to both operational and conceptual developments in the region.
